About Me
Hi, I’m Tiffany Kairos. I am an epilepsy blogger, advocate, content creator and the founder of The Epilepsy Network (TEN). Within this blog you will read more about my life with with epilepsy and find tangible tools and tips for living with this condition.
I’m a wife with two beautiful fur babies. I love health and wellness, always looking for ways to improve my physical and mental health!
On December 11, 2008, I experienced my second grand mal seizure while driving and survived, having crashed into a tree. I was later diagnosed with epilepsy. After several tests, medication changes and adjustments, it was discovered that I have a type of epilepsy that is called “Refractory Epilepsy”. This type of epilepsy means that it is hard to control with medication.
I have learned so much from my illness over the years. I aspire to uplift those impacted by epilepsy, equipping them with the resources, tools, and support they need in order to live their best lives.
Though I must take medication, and have had to make certain sacrifices, I can still find joy and meaning in my life. I am beyond thankful for my Heavenly Father and incredible support system who have helped me to rise above, overcome and live fully. I attribute my achievements to their encouragement over the years.
Thank you for joining me along the epilepsy journey!
