7 Must-Have Shark Tank Products For Epilepsy Living
Living with a chronic illness involves change. There are certain tasks and activities that you can no longer participate in because it could put you at risk of provoking a seizure or flare up.
I’ve had to make several changes following my epilepsy journey, I’ve since become a ‘simple solution to a problem enthusiast’. That’s probably why one of my favorite shows is Shark Tank.
I love to see how people not only come up with a solution to an existing problem but also how they rise above obstacles to create the product and share it with the world.
I watch just about every episode and I can sincerely say that the products I see showcased are noteworthy and give every indication of being helpful to those living with epilepsy or any chronic illness.
Below I’m sharing ideal Shark Tank products for those living with epilepsy. These products impressed the Sharks and I think they will do the same for you!
Here are my 7 Shark Tank product picks for you. I’ve added direct links and air schedule to help you learn more about the products.
Buzzy – Takes The Sting Out Of Shots
Season 5 episode 18
What Is It:
A small vibrating bee with blue ice-pack wings. Just like cool running water soothes a burn, Buzzy uses a combination of cold and vibration to replace pain with temperature and movement.
Why Is It Worthwhile:
If you have a chronic illness, needle pokes are an all too familiar feeling but can still sometimes be uncomfortable.
My least favorite is the butterfly needle which can be inserted in a vein on the back of your hand or in the space near your elbow. This, used to access a vein for drawing blood or giving medications. Typically during hospital stays.
Buzzy is an ideal product to alleviate the sting caused by needle pokes.

LARQ Self- Cleaning Water Bottle
Season 12 Episode 21
What Is It:
A Water bottle with a UV light in the cap that purifies the water and cleans the water bottle to prevent bacteria.
Why Is It Worthwhile:
It’s very important to stay hydrated. Especially while having to take multiple medications daily.
It is recommended to drink a full 8-ounce glass of water when taking medications. A standard water bottle holds 16 ounces of water. Not drinking enough water may also cause throat irritation and, in some cases, prevent medication from working properly.
I take four different medications a day and that requires me to stay extra hydrated. Water and me must be besties.

RING (Formerly known as Doorbot)
Season 5 Episode 8
What Is It:
A video doorbell that records activity outside your home.
Why Is It Worthwhile:
Many people with a chronic illness are housebound and it can be difficult to get out and about. Especially if you’re struggling with symptoms. By having the Ring doorbell installed at your home you can easily see who is at your door, and can even have two-way communication with whoever is there….all from your phone without having to leave your bed should you be resting and recovering.
After I’ve experienced a seizure, sometimes the best thing that I can do is rest. My body has just been through a trauma and needs to recover. Should anyone come to the house, I can’t always make it to the door.
RING is ideal in assisting me should such a situation occur.
